Wacky Packages ANS2
Complete Checklist
The complete collector's guide to the 2005 Topps Wacky Packages All-New Series 2 — every base sticker, cling, tattoo, and magnet in the set. Whether you're chasing the full 55-card base set or hunting for that last cling sticker, this is your reference.
About the Set
Wacky Packages are parody sticker trading cards made by Topps — the same company behind Garbage Pail Kids. They've been around since the 1960s, spoofing real consumer products with twisted artwork and ridiculous names. The All-New Series brought them back in the 2000s with fresh parodies of modern brands.
ANS2 was released in 2005 and came in two waves. Wave 1 boxes (pre-release, April 2005, NY area) included clear vinyl cling stickers as chase cards. Wave 2 boxes (national release, July 2005) swapped the clings for magnets with the same 9 designs. Both waves included temporary tattoos.
Each box contains 24 packs with 7 stickers per pack. Cling stickers appear at a rate of roughly 1 in every 4 packs, and tattoos at about 1 in every 6 packs.
Base Stickers (55)
The core set of 55 parody stickers. Each one spoofs a real product — from Starbucks to Subway to Hello Kitty.
Clear Cling Stickers (9 of 9)
The chase cards of ANS2 Wave 1. These clear vinyl clings are designed after the classic 1970s Wacky Packages style and appear at roughly 1 per 4 packs. Wave 2 boxes replaced these with magnets featuring the same 9 designs.
Temporary Tattoos (10 of 10)
Temporary tattoo inserts featuring 10 designs pulled from the base set artwork. Found at roughly 1 per 6 packs.
Magnets (9 of 9)
Wave 2 (national release) boxes replaced the clear cling stickers with magnets. Same 9 designs as the clings — just in magnet form.
Bonus & Promo Cards
ANS2 includes bonus stickers B3 through B7 — these are unnumbered extras that appear randomly in packs. There's also a P1 promo card that was distributed separately at events and through dealer promotions.
Our ANS2 Box Rips
We picked up a sealed ANS2 retail box and have been ripping packs on stream. So far from 2 packs opened, we've pulled a Worm Cling (#9 of 9) — the last card in the cling set. We've got 22 packs left to go.

Collector Tips
Know your waves. If you're hunting clings specifically, you need a Wave 1 box (pre-release, April 2005). Wave 2 boxes have magnets instead. Both are sealed identically on the outside — check with the seller before buying.
Clings are the chase. A complete set of all 9 cling stickers in good condition is the hardest part of completing ANS2. The base set of 55 can usually be assembled from a single box.
Check for bonus stickers. B3–B7 are easy to overlook because they're unnumbered. Don't throw them in with your duplicates.
Condition matters. Cling stickers are clear vinyl and can scratch easily. Store them in top loaders or penny sleeves just like you would a trading card.
What Are Wacky Packages?
Wacky Packages are sticker trading cards produced by Topps that parody real consumer products with twisted names and ridiculous artwork. First released in 1967, they became a cultural phenomenon in the 1970s when kids stuck them on everything from lockers to lunchboxes.
Topps revived the brand in 2004 with the All-New Series (ANS), updating the parodies for modern products. ANS2 was the second set in this revival, released in 2005. The series continued through ANS11 before transitioning into other formats.
Wacky Packages share DNA with Garbage Pail Kids — both are Topps products, both feature irreverent humor, and both have passionate collector communities. If you collect one, you'll probably end up collecting the other.
